Adolescent / Teen Therapy

Counseling / Therapy for Adolescent Boys / Teens

The adolescent brain is like a house that’s still under construction, which is why teens often seem impulsive, emotional, or prone to taking risks. While the parts of the brain that handle emotions and rewards are highly active during adolescence, the areas responsible for decision-making, self-control, and long-term planning (the prefrontal cortex) aren’t fully developed until the mid-20s.

I support clients struggling with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Stress Management, Anger Management, Low Self-Esteem, Academic Stress, Family Dynamics, Peer Relationships, Impulsivity, and Behavioral Issues
